CricketWest COVID-19 Announcement

To all community cricketers under the affiliates of CricketWest.

The decisions to abandon cricket this weekend by each affiliate under CricketWest has been undertaken with the greatest consultation of the respective boards, committees, peak body and the WA State Government. 

Following the Premier’s press conference, below is the link to the latest WA Government Advice in relation to the transition out of lockdown – which includes reference to community sport.

The WACA and CricketWest will be liaising with the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries tomorrow morning in relation to their guidelines for community sport in the transition out of lockdown and will communicate this to you as soon as we receive them.  

This email is to update you on the latest information we have at hand.

Further correspondence will go out from each affiliate next week pertaining to next weekend’s match fixtures.
